How it works

1. Sign in with your mobile number
We send a one-time password (OTP) to your mobile. There is no password to remember, and sessions are protected with secure, HttpOnly cookies.
2. Add and verify your vehicle
Enter the registration number. To prove the vehicle is yours, confirm the last 5 characters of its chassis number (printed on your RC). Verification protects owners from strangers looking up their challans.
3. We fetch challans from authorised sources
Our backend requests challan information from authorised government systems or approved data providers. Every challan shows when it was last verified. If a source is temporarily unavailable, we say so and show the last verified information — we never tell you “no challans” when we could not check.
4. Pay eligible challans
Before payment starts, we re-check the challan with the source to confirm it is still payable and the amount is correct. You then pay on the payment gateway’s secure page using UPI, card or net banking.
5. Two confirmations: payment and settlement
A successful payment means money has left your account. Separately, the issuing authority must confirm that the challan is settled. We show both statuses and mark the challan Paid only after the authority confirms. Until then you will see “Government confirmation is pending. Please do not pay again.”
6. Receipt and notifications
Once settled, a receipt with the authority’s reference appears under Receipts, and we notify you.
